What the Heck?

Why is the bag so big?

While normal coffee bags tend to be 12 oz, we sell our coffee in whopping 20-22 oz bags. why? You may ask. Well, that just happens to be the size of the small-batch, craft roaster we use to lovingly roast every order. This ensures that there is no coffee sitting around getting stale, and you are dinking the freshest coffee you can get!

Who the heck are you?

My name is Cheauxchi, and I live in Carbondale Colorado. I like coffee and Dragonflies and fixing stuff. I am quite blessed with an amazing group of friends and family, and am currently living a peaceful life in the mountains, hiking and biking and eating good food. I love to ponder the workings of the cosmos and our experience here on Earth as I sip a nice cup of tasty coffee. I run a pretty simple espresso blend through a nice Rancilio Classe 5 every morning, but i really dig a good pour over of a bright Ethiopia or french press of a rich Indonesia.

If you were a sub-atomic particle, what would you be?

I would be an up quark, for sure!

How do you pick your beans?

I research all the farms and regions carefully to find the most exiting and interesting visions of sustainability and hope! There are people out there that support the communities and ecology of their growing region, and we should support them. The conscious Folks that provide medical and child care for workers, the heroes that make sure the water is clean and the soil is taken care of produce great coffee and should be supported!. Wild life refuges and ecological sanctuaries can host great coffee farms too!
